2011-12: Competed in three cross country meets. Was UB’s top finisher at Cornell Reif Invitational with a 5K time of 17:05.0 for third place. Set top 8K mark of 27:06 at Paul Short Invitational. Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track and field seasons.

High School: Captained one season at Pawling High School for coach Jack Powers. Finished 14th at the 2010 New York State Class C Cross Country Championships. Third-team all-state. Earned Poughkeepsie Journal All-Star honors for cross country. Set school record in 3,000m steeplechase.

Personal: Born August 31, 1993. Has one brother (Jason) and two sisters (Margaret, Brandi). Favorite food is pasta. Favorite athlete is distance racer Bernard Lagat. Majoring in chemical engineering.
