Bulls Add To Cross Country And Track & Field Programs
Head cross country and women's track and field coach Vicki Mitchell has announced the addition of numerous individuals who will be joining the Bulls for the 2011-12 season.

UB Women's Cross Country Announces Awards
The University at Buffalo women's cross country squad announced its team awards for the 2010 season. Head coach Vicki Mitchell and her staff made the following presentations: Becky Martin was named as Top Newcomer; Sam Beim earned the Most Improved Award; Emma Denton won the Coaches' Award and Christine Sprehe was selected as the Most Valuable Runner.

The University at Buffalo men's cross country squad announced its team awards for the 2010 season. Head coach Vicki Mitchell and her staff made the following presentations: Zach Ahart was named as Top Newcomer; John Inzina and Dylan Conway both earned the Most Improved Award; Mike Pressler won the Coaches' Award and Ryan Bloom was selected as the Most Valuable Runner.

Vicki Mitchell Named to Division III Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame
University at Buffalo men’s and women's cross country and women's indoor and outdoor track and field head coach Vicki Mitchell has been named as one of four individuals to be inducted into the Division III Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame for 2011.

Cross Country Teams Selected as All-Academic Squads
The University at Buffalo's men's and women's cross country teams have been named to the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I All-Academic Teams for the 2010 season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced.

Bulls Place Three on Men's Cross Country Academic All-MAC Squad
Three members of the University at Buffalo's men's cross country team have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team. Senior Jacob Hagen and juniors Dylan Conway and John Inzina were among the 15 runners named to the league's list released today.

Cross Country Teams Complete Season at Northeast Regionals
The University at Buffalo men's and women's cross country programs wrapped up the 2010 season on Saturday at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships at Hammonassett State Park in Madison, CT. The UB men placed 17th in a 35-team field with 459 points while the UB women finished 26th among 35 programs with 754 points.

The University at Buffalo men's and women's cross country teams sent six racers to Friday's Cornell University Reif Invitational coming up with several strong finishes. There was no team scoring at the meet.

UB Cross Country Teams Finish Third at Stampede Invite
Weather conditions were ideal for racing with temperatures in the upper 60s and 10-15 mph winds as the University at Buffalo men's and women's cross country teams hosted the UB Stampede Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Island State Park. Both UB squads placed third overall behind Mid-American Conference competition.

Cross Country Squads Finish in Middle of Pack at Penn State Spiked Shoe Meet
The University at Buffalo's men's and women's cross country teams got the 2010 season started on Saturday as the teams competed at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational. The UB women finished ninth in a 14-team field with 285 points while the UB men placed 10th among 16 schools with 296 points.

Western New York native Todd Witzleben has joined the University at Buffalo as a recruiting coordinator and assistant cross country and distance coach as the Bulls begin the 2010-11 season.
