Bulls Conclude 2013 Spring Schedule
The University at Buffalo volleyball team wrapped up its Spring schedule this past Saturday, taking two of three sets from Canisius, winning the first two, 25-16 and 25-20. The match against the Golden Griffins ended four weekends of competition getting the Bulls ready for the Fall campaign.

The University at Buffalo volleyball team continued Spring action this past Saturday in Cleveland, OH, winning eight of the 10 sets it played, including sweeps of Cleveland State and Youngstown State. The competition was the second weekend of four scheduled Spring events.

Division Of Athletics Posts Program-Best 3.039 GPA
The University at Buffalo Division of Athletics finished an exceptional semester in the classroom in the Fall of 2012, post a school-best 3.039 GPA. This marked the first time that the Athletic Department has surpassed a 3.0 GPA in back-to-back semesters.

UB Athletics Announces Upgrades to Alumni Arena
The University at Buffalo’s Alumni Arena will be showcasing a new look and game-day atmosphere as the winter season of athletic and cultural events gets underway. Included in the enhancements are state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems as well the installation of a new video and scoring system. The project is a collaborative effort between UB Facilities, Planning & Design and the Division of Athletics with funding provided by the university’s critical maintenance fund and private dollars.

2010 Season Paves Way For Bright Future
One just has to look towards the record book since 2000 to realize that the University at Buffalo volleyball team is on it way to its ultimate goal, a Mid-American Conference Championship and Top 25 ranking. In just two seasons under head coach Todd Kress, the Bulls have finished with a combined record of 34-32. In the nine seasons prior to that, the Bulls were 70-212.

The University at Buffalo volleyball team won its fourth consecutive match as it completed a two-match sweep of Youngstown State with a 3-0 victory, Saturday afternoon at Alumni Arena. The Bulls have now won 10 straight sets as they improve to 6-3 on the year. The six wins tie UB’s win total from last season.

The University at Buffalo volleyball team had a hard time with top-ranked Penn State on Friday night, falling to the two-time defending national champion Nittany Lions, 3-0, at Recreation Building on the opening night of the Nittany Lion Invitational. The Bulls played in front of an announced attendance of 2,003, the largest crowd the Bulls have ever played in front of.

Bulls Take Home UB Invitational Championship
The University at Buffalo volleyball team began the 2009 season on a positive note winning the University at Buffalo Invitational on Saturday. The Bulls split their two matches on the day, defeating Fordham 3-2 in the afternoon, before falling to Seton Hall 3-0 in the nightcap. The Bulls end the first weekend of play with a 2-1 record.

Bulls Open Season With 3-0 Sweep of Boston College
The University at Buffalo volleyball team did something it hadn’t done since 2005 on Friday night, win its season-opening match. The Bulls swept the Boston College Eagles, 3-0, at Alumni Arena as they began play in the 2009 University at Buffalo Invitational. The win was also UB’s first against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since defeating NC State in 2003.
