Diggin' It With UB Volleyball - Week 4

Each week this season we will check in with the UB Volleyball team and preview their week ahead.

BLOG  #4, SEPTEMBER 21TH 2010

This past weekend we traveled to West Point to compete in our final tournament of the season. We defeated the host team, Army, in an exciting 5 games. We also defeated Air Force. However, we lost to Hofstra and Bryant in really close games. It was a fun weekend as we did a lot of team bonding activities. On Saturday we had a chance to attend the Army vs. North Texas football game. We met some cadets and even befriended one name Shawn.

Later that night we relaxed around the hotel and had a chance to watch our fellow Bulls football team play. It was exciting to watch as many of us attempted to squeeze onto a hotel bed and watch the game from a laptop. On Sunday we also learned that running around on an ice rink is a preferred pre-game routine!
With the conclusion of this weekend we head into conference play this weekend as we host Miami of Ohio on Friday night and then Bowling Green on Saturday night. Coming into the heart of our season we are more prepared then ever! We hope to see you this weekend at our home games!!!

Sincerely,
