BUFFALO, NY – The NCAA released its Academic Progress Rate (APR) on Wednesday and the University at Buffalo women's tennis team highlighted the report with a perfect four-year APR rate and was recognized with the APR Public Recognition Award by finishing in the top 10 percent in the nation.
The APR is a yearly measure of eligibility and retention for student-athletes competing on every Division I sports team. The APR release encompasses four years of data—07-08, 08-09, 09-10, and 10-11. It is a four-year rolling rate.
UB's women's tennis team was one of four women's tennis programs honored in the MAC and one of just 13 conference teams overall.
