BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team ended the home portion of its schedule in style on Saturday afternoon as they swept Ball State, 7-0, at the Miller Tennis Center. UB took all three matches in doubles and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
The Bulls started things early in doubles action as Anna Subenkovaand Tamara Markovic won at second doubles, defeating Dena Boulieris and Paola Rodriguez, 8-3. The Bulls clinched the doubles point with a win at third doubles as Diana Popescu and Diana Toia defeated Sarah Hebble and Lauren Pickrel, 8-2. The number one team of Denise Harijanto and Aleksandra Petrova defeated Katherine Rist and Kylee Johnson, 8-3.
The Bulls head on the road for their final regular season weekend as they head to Western Michigan on Friday afternoon and Bowling Green on Saturday. MAC Championships get underway at Western Michigan the following week.
