UB Lightweights Open Spring Season At Radcliffe

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The University at Buffalo lightweight rowing team opened its spring on Saturday morning as they faced two boats from Radcliffe College on a sunny, cool morning on the Charles River.

UB's boat, which consisted of coxswain Taylor Drozenski, Gina Giammichele, Emily Marshall, Cornelia Willis, Julia Hahn, Andrea Patterson, Sarah Walker, Sarah Carbrey and Jessica Lau finished in third place at 7:17:04. The Radcliffe A boat won the race at 7:03.93, while the Radcliffe B boat came in second at 7:13.04.

UB's varsity program gets underway tomorrow as they head to the Indiana Invitational where the Bulls will face Indiana, Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame and Purdue.
