2011-12: Earned the starting role at 133 and finished the season 16-21, 5-13 in dual meets... finished fourth on the team with 19 escapes and second with four reversals in dual meets... placed third at the UB Open, posting a 5-1 record (11/6)... beat Evan Kolb of Lock Haven 7-6 at the Wrestle for a Cure Duals (11/12)... finished fourth at the Storm Open, winning three matches (1/7)... went 2-0 on the first day of the Virginia Duals, beating Bucknell’s Shawn Armato 3-2 and Kent State’s Troy Opfer 3-0 (1/13)... placed fifth at the New York State Championships (1/22)... beat Rob Jilliard 7-1 in Buffalo’s win over Northern Illinois (2/18).
2010-11: Redshirted but had a terrific year, posting a 21-14 record… finished sixth at the UB Open after going 4-2 (11/7)… went 4-2 at the William & Jefferson Open… won the 133-pound ‘B’ bracket of the New York State Championship, going 4-0… finished fourth at the JCC Open (1/29)... participated in the National Collegiate Open.
2009-10: Finished fourth at the UB Open for the 125 weight class... lost to teammate Dan Bishop at 125 to finish second at the Niagara County Community College duals… finished fourth in the “B” bracket of the New York State Championships… won 16 matches overall.
High School: Four-year letterwinner and two-time captain for coach Mark Ruettiger at Lincoln-Way Central High School... posted a career record of 148-17... as a senior, posted an overall record of 24-2 at 130 pounds...three-time conference champion... two-time regional champion... third-place finish at Illinois State Championships in 2007 and 2009... second-place finish at 2008 Illinois State Championship... finished in eighth-place at NHSCA Senior Nationals earning All-American honors.
