AKRON STORYLINES

- Game Preview: It will be a battle for two of the top teams in the MAC East as the Bulls, 5-2 in MAC Play, head to Akron to face the Zips, 4-3 in conference play.  Both teams are coming off victories over top programs in Miami and Bowling Green, respectively.  Buffalo outscored the RedHawks, 44-34, in the second half in Thursday afternoon's victory.

- The Comeback Kids: Buffalo overcame a 13-point first half deficit to Miami (OH) on Thursday afternoon and won for the first time this season when trailing at the half.  The 13-point comeback was the first time since the 2007-08 season that Bulls have overcome a deficit of greater than 10 points to win.  The last time was Jan. 12, 2008 at Akron.

- The Frenzy Continues:  It was a solid start to the February Frenzy that will see the Bulls travel 3,854 miles over a 30-day period stretching through all of February. (For a full map and schedule, check Pg. 5)  The Bulls won for the first time at Miami since the 2007-08 season and now look for their first victory at Akron since January 2011.  The Bulls also have road games at Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ohio and Bowling Green this month.
