2011-12: Swam the opening backstroke leg of UB’s record setting 400 medley relay (3:43.90) at the MAC Championships. Raced in the consolation final of both backstroke events at the MAC meet placing 11th in the 200 backstroke (2:01.74) and 15th in the 100 backstroke (season-best 56.26) and was also 22nd in the 100 butterfly (lifetime-best 56.56).

High School: Captained at Fox Lane High School for coach Carolyn Johnson. A four-year all-section, all-league and all-state honoree. Set school records in the 50 freestyle and 200 free and medley relays. Also a member of the Marlins Swim Team and Ridgefield Aquatic Club programs for coach Bob Sherer.

Personal: Born April 12, 1993. Daughter of Edward and Heather Trail. Has one brother (Trevor). Hobbies include photography. Enjoys scary movies and comedies. Lists Taco Bell as a favorite fast food destination. Majoring in visual studies and would like to have a photography business.
