UB Men's Swim Team Recognized in National Poll

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's swimming and diving team earned a place in the most recent national rankings as the Bulls received votes in the poll released by the College Swim Coaches Association of America.

In the top 25 poll released on November 9, the Bulls (1-0) were one of nine teams in the also receiving votes category along with Navy, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Alabama, Penn State, UC Santa Barbara, SMU and South Carolina. National powers Michigan, Texas and Arizona hold the top three spots in the poll.

"It's a great honor for the men's swimming and diving team to be with the other schools that are on the list," said head coach Andy Bashor. "We have started something special here and it's good to know that others are taking notice."

The Bulls, the defending Mid-American Conference champion, host Colgate on Saturday, November 12 at Alumni Arena Natatorium.
