Fall 2012: Compiled 4-4 singles and 7-3 doubles records. Earned a seeding and a first-round bye as he scored three total victories at the ITA Regionals, reaching the third round of singles and combining with Ivan Vereshchaga to finish 2-1 with wins over opponents from Boston College and Binghamton before falling to the tournament’s top seeded duo. Registered two wins in the Cordish Draw of the Princeton Invitational, including a three-set quarterfinal triumph. Reached the A Flight doubles semifinals at the Penn Invitational.
2011-12: Named team’s co-MVP during a sensational freshman campaign. Finished with a 25-9 singles record and was 13-16 in doubles play. Broke UB records for most wins in a season and the most by a freshman. Playing first singles, he went 5-0 in MAC contests. His 25 victories were the most by a men’s tennis player since Nikesh Singh Panthlia scored 24 victories in the 2008 season. Named to the All-MAC First Team and was the league’s Newcomer of the Year. Additionally, he was named the Northeast Region Rookie of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. During the fall, he led the Bulls with 11 singles winsl. Won the A singles title at the Cornell Invitational, finishing 4-0. Reached the B flight championship match at the Princeton Invitational, falling in three sets, as he finished 3-1 in his first collegiate tournament. Won B singles and paired with Vusa Hove to win the A doubles title at the UB Invitational. Earned a first-round bye and went 1-1 at the ITA Regionals, reaching the third round.
