Former Bull Daniel Stevens to Play Professionally Overseas

BUFFALO, NY - Following a successful career at the University at Buffalo and local FC Buffalo, Daniel Stevens will hop across the pond to play for the Palloseura Kemi Kings in Ykkonen, Finland. Prior to this opportunity, Stevens was the leading scorer for FC Buffalo and had also played for Norwegian club Jevnaker IF over the winter.

Stevens, now 25 years old, played for the Bulls from 2006-07 and led the team in assists in his first season, with seven. He signed with the Kemi Kings today after a tryout earlier in the week. The Kemi Kings are a member of the Finnish second division and finished seventh in the league's second flight most recently.

As a team captain, Stevens was named to the 2011 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) All-Star Team as a member of the Blitzers. The NPSL consists of 39 teams across the country split into five divisions.
