BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team makes its first ever trip to the state of South Dakota for a Sears BracketBuster matchup with South Dakota State on Saturday. The game tips off at 1:00 pm (EST) and will air nationally on ESPNU.
The Bulls are 16-7 and coming off a 76-71 loss at Kent State on Wednesday night, snapping their eight-game winning streak. UB was led by Zach Filzen who scored 20 points. Mitchell Watt added 16 points and nine rebounds.
South Dakota State, a member of the Summit League, is 21-7 on the season. The Jackrabbits feature a highly-potent offense that averages nearly 79 points per game. They are led by Nate Wolters who ranks sixth in the nation in scoring, averaging 21.8 points per game.
It will likely be a hostile environment at Frost Arena as South Dakota State is hosting its first ever nationally televised game.
