BUFFALO, NY - 50 UB Football season ticket holders and their guests were treated to lunch at Carrabba's Italian Grill on Wednesday. The event was the first of several exclusive events the Bulls are offering season ticket holders this season, representing opportunities for fans to connect with Bulls coaches, student-athletes, staff and fellow fans.
Guests had the chance to meet, talk with and hear from UB Football head coach Jeff Quinn, defensive coordinator Lou Tepper, offensive coordinator Alex Wood, offensive lineman Jasen Carlson, defensive lineman Wyatt Cahill, Interim Athletic Director John Lambert and Senior Associate Athletic Director Anucha Browne Sanders. Quinn provided a recap of the team's spring season and a preview of the 2012 schedule. Carlson and Cahill thanked the season ticket holders for their support on gameday and throughout the year. The two football players also mentioned their intensive offseason workouts with strength and conditioning coach Zach Duval in getting them ready and excited for the upcoming season. Lambert, also UB's Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development, provided guests with an update on the university's Director of Athletics search as well as shared news of two recent gifts to UB Athletics.
Guests left satisified from both a delicious lunch from UB Athletics' valued corporate partner Carrabba's Italian Grill and a full agenda of UB Football. Click here for a photo gallery from the event.
