Barnum Named Video Coordinator
BUFFALO, NY – Head football coach Jeff Quinn announced today that Jonathan Barnum will be the Bulls new video coordinator.
Barnum most recently spent the past season as the video coordinator for Jacksonville State in Florence, SC but has spent the majority of his time in Central New York.
A 2009 graduate of SUNY Cortland with a degree in Sport Management, he spent the final year of his undergrad studies directing the Red Dragons' video duties. He then spent the 2009 season serving as an assistant at Syracuse University before moving on to Jacksonville State.
Barnum is also in the process of finishing a Masters of Business Administration degree.
As video coordinator for the Bulls, Barnum will be responsible for video exchange, working with the Bulls' coaching staff to produce cutups of game and practice film, prepare scouting reports and oversee a staff that shoots all practices and games from both sideline and end zone views.
"Jonathan is an outstanding young man who will bring great expertise to our video coordination, which is a huge part of our day-to-day preparation and planning," said Quinn. "He comes highly recommended and we are thrilled to have him join our UB football family."
The Bulls open fall camp on August 8 and kick off the season at Pittsburgh on Saturday, September 3 at Pittsburgh at 6 pm.
