Hoof Prints: Originally recruited as a wide receiver, but moved to cornerback in 2011 and played quite well... his father played football at MAC member Ball State...staff feels he has great ball skills and explosive athletic ability.
Redshirt Freshman (2011): Earned the starting cornerback position in the preseason and proved to be the team’s most important newcomers... led all cornerbacks on the team with 54 tackles (34 solo)... led the team with two interceptions and also had four pass breakups... had a season-high seven solo tackles and also recorded a sack against Tennessee (10/1)... picked off a pass in the end zone to preserve a 38-37 victory for Buffalo against East division rival Ohio (10/8)... broke up two passes and made nine total tackles against Northern Illinois (10/22)... ended the season with an interception with three tackles against Bowling Green (11/25).
Freshman (2010): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: Selected to play in the Broward County All-Star game after recording 31 receptions for 500 yards and six touchdowns as a senior…possesses explosive speed and has been a two-time state qualifier in the 800- and 1,600-meter relay teams at Everglades…helped lead his team to an undefeated regular season while claiming district and regional titles…an excellent student, he also excelled as a kick returner…UB coaches love his speed and elusiveness, feeling he is a threat to score every time he touches the ball.
