2011: Started 43 games as a freshman, playing mostly at shortstop while also serving as the team’s mid-week starting pitcher... at the plate, Burke batted .261 with 19 runs batted in and 41 total hits... had 10 multi-hit and four multi-RBI games... hit a home run in his first collegiate game, against New Mexico State (2/26)... as the team’s pitcher, he made five starts and threw 23.1 total innings, striking out 17... named to the Prospects League All-Star team for the Lorain County Ironmen, batting .344 with 10 extra-base hits and 28 runs batted in over 52 games.
