Mye Earns Second MAC Weekly Honor

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo senior Chaz Mye earned Mid-American Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon. This past Saturday, Mye led the Bulls to their first conference home opening victory since the 2002 season.

In game one of Saturday afternoon's doubleheader, Mye (3-2) led the Bulls to a 5-2 victory in their conference home opener. Mye recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts, striking out the first four batters he faced. Allowing only five hits in 8.1 innings of work, Mye's performance solidified the Bulls' victory.

The Bulls (10-10, 1-2 MAC) will travel to Olean, NY on Tuesday, March 30 to face St. Bonaventure in a mid-week matchup with the first pitch set for 2:00 pm.
