After coaching football for 30 years, Donnor moved off the field and served UB in the Compliance Office for 3 years before transitioning into Athletics Development in 2004.

He coached at Clarence Central High School, IUP, Marshall University, The United States Naval Academy and enjoyed two separate stints with UB.

Charlie and his wife Maryann have two sons [Geoff and Michael] and two grandchildren.
