Dugan and Podlas Named Athletes of the Week

| Mike Dugan (Rotterdam, NY/Mohonasen) of the men's swimming team won two individual races and anchored both of UB's victorious relay squads in UB's MAC meet against Eastern Michigan. He won the 50-yard freestyle in 20.79 and then posted a season-best time in taking the 100-yard freestyle in 45.34. He also anchored the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:03.68) and 200-yard medley relay (1:30.75) to season-best times. |

| Miranda Podlas (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville East) of the women's tennis team won both her singles and doubles matches as the Bulls downed Big East member Pittsburgh. She teamed with Tanvi Shah to knock off Jocelyn Lu and Taylor Washington, 8-5, the first loss for the Pittsburgh duo this season at first doubles. She then scored a win at second singles downing Lu, 6-1, 6-1. For the season, she is 6-1 in both singles and doubles. |
