Pressler And Varsity 4 Boat Named Athletes Of The Week

| Mike Pressler (Montgomery, NY/Valley Central) of the men's cross country team was UB's top finisher as the Bulls hosted the NCAA Northeast Regionals. Pressler finished 28th in a field of 240 runners in 32:18.2 for the 10K course. The Bulls finished seventh among 33 schools, their highest regional finish in school history. Pressler improved his time from the 2010 regional meet in Hamden, CT by 24 seconds. |

| The Varsity 4 A entry at the Foot of the Charles Regatta placed fifth among 43 boats in 14:13.5. The boat consisted of coxswain Alison Sheehan (St. Catharines, Ontario/Denis Moris Catholic), Jacklyn Postulka (Waterford, NY/Shenedehowa), Heide MacMahon-Manning (Fonthill, Ontario/E.L. Crossley), Rosa Kemp (Putnam Valley, NY/James I. O'Neill) and Shannon David (St. Catharines, Ontario/St. Francis). |
