Iafrati and Hedderson Named Athletes Of The Week

Brittany Hedderson (Tecumseh, Ontario/St. Anne) of the women's basketball team averaged 24.0 points 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 4.0 steals on UB's road trip at Western Michigan and Ball State. At Western Michigan, Hedderson scored 31 points, the third time this season that the senior guard had reached the 30-point mark. She had four steals in each contest and was 21-of-40 from the field in the two contests.

Chris Iafrati (Hilton, NY/Hilton) of the men's swimming and diving team won a pair of diving events in UB's road meets at Penn State and St. Bonaventure. Iafrati set a season-best with his win on the three-meter board at Penn State with a total of 338.62 points. He then posted a season-best mark in winning the one-meter competition at St. Bonaventure with 302.85 points.
